Tempers were flaring before Saturday’s SEC showdown between Florida and LSU even kicked off.
In a pivotal game that was set to decide how the SEC East shakes out, as well as Ed Orgeron’s future, it’s no surprise that things got chippy early.
There’s no love lost when these teams square off, no matter their records, and with both teams vying for their shot at the College Football Playoff, no one was shocked when the two teams got into a pregame skirmish, with Leonard Fournette and a Gators assistant coach trading shoves.

Fournette was nursing an ankle injury as is, so it wasn’t a smart move by him to get into a physical altercation before the game even began.
