Florida Gators linebacker Jarrad Davis returned to action Saturday after missing the team’s past three games with ankle injuries, and it seemed like he was fired up to be back on the field for the matchup against Alabama.
The Gators’ defense came up with a big stop on the Crimson Tide’s first drive of the game, and forced a three-and-out. Davis was pretty excited about it on the sideline afterward, so he took off his helmet and threw it at a whiteboard.
It’s safe to say Davis won that round, as he shattered the poor board.
This board never stood a chance. #SECChamp25 https://t.co/oBta8efim6

We understand that it was the SEC Championship game, and that Davis was fired up to be playing in it, but this gesture seemed a bit foolish, and premature. Alabama went on to score 40 points in the first three quarters alone, so it’s not like the Gators’ defense was a dominant force in the game
