Hall of Fame running back and Los Angeles Rams legend Eric Dickerson says enough is enough: Jeff Fisher has got to go as coach of the Rams.
Dickerson made that quite clear during an appearance on The Herd with Colin Cowherd recently, sharing a conversation he had with Rams VP of Football Operations Kevin Demoff, as transcribed by FTW’s Alysha Tsuji.
“I asked Kevin Demoff point-blank last night, I said, ‘So, are you bringing Jeff Fisher back? Does he have an extension?’ He said, ‘We’re talking about it.’ He asked me, ‘What do you think?’ I said, ‘My honest opinion? No. He’s had five years. Five years of losing. Enough is enough. If I’m a fan, I feel like all these Rams fans, I’m their voice. Why would you bring him back?’ I asked him, ‘Where are the naked pictures at?’ He must’ve got something on someone. Because five years is enough. It really is. You can’t subject all the Rams fans to this for another year. If you brought another coach in, they’d say, ‘OK, no problem. We got a new coach. Something new. We’ll give him the year. We’ll give him some time.’”

Dickerson has got a point. Fisher, in four-plus seasons with the Rams, is 31-43 and the team is two losses away from its fifth straight losing season.
Reports earlier this season indicated that Fisher and GM Les Snead would get a contract extension, but Demoff told Pro Football Talk after Sunday’s 49-21 loss to the New Orleans Saints that there is no update regarding Fisher’s contract status.
