Former head coach Steve Spurrier recently received a prestigious award, and a funny moment happened after he did.
Spurrier was presented with the NFCAA Contributions Award at the Home Depot College Football Awards on Thursday night, and was honored for his lifetime achievements in college football.
After receiving the award, he, of course, wanted to take a photo with the trophy. So, he took the trophy to a press conference room and attempted to take a selfie. It didn’t go too well.
Spurrier struggled immensely, constantly trying to move the phone in an attempt to get a better angle, and ended up just having someone take the photo for him.

That didn’t work out too well for the Head Ball Coach.
