Jerry Jones’ grandson, John Stephen Jones, led Highland Park to a state title on Saturday, and both the Cowboys’ owner and quarterback Tony Romo were there to witness it.
Maybe Romo was trying to get on Jones’ good side in a desperate attempt to get some playing time in the team’s final regular-season games, or maybe the two really are just good friends.
It seems like the latter, as a video shows them chatting it up during the game, with Romo likely breaking down the x’s and o’s.

The Cowboys have some extra time to prepare this weekend, as they don’t play until Sunday night. And it’s unlikely that Romo will play anyway.
