Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had one of the worst starts possible against Clemson in the national championship game on Monday night, and his head coach wasn’t happy about it.
One of Tagovailoa’s first throws was a pass floated on an out route, with a defensive back standing back baiting him to go there. He obliged, and cornerback AJ Terrell jumped the route, picked off the pass and returned it 44 yards to the house.

As for Saban, well, his reaction to the bad decision by Tua was quite clear.
“G-d damnit, Tua!” Saban remarked on the sideline.
