Death Valley had absolutely nothing to do with Death Row Records — until Monday’s national championship game between Clemson and Alabama, that is.
The Tigers destroyed the Crimson Tide, 44-16, even coming into the game as five-point underdogs. As such, they were fired up after the game, when they celebrated on the field with the championship trophy.
Not only that, fellow defensive linemen Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell and Christian Wilkins took the microphone from ESPN’s Rece Davis and recreated Suge Knight’s infamous Death Row Records speech at the 1995 Source Awards. Check out how close Ferrell was to nailing the speech.

The infamous speech by Suge was meant as a shot at Puff Daddy, so maybe Alabama played the role of Diddy in that sense.
