The San Francisco 49ers are a one-win team, which they showed loud and clear Sunday by celebrating a touchdown…that wasn’t.
In snowy conditions against the Chicago Bears, the 49ers blocked a punt. The player who came up with the ball returned it, but didn’t realize he stepped out of bounds.
He went on to make snow angels—and his teammates joined him, drawing a flag:

Rather than having the ball at the four-yard line, the flag moved the 49ers back and the offense stalled. The team did wind up getting a field goal out of the ordeal, but the team found itself down 21-6 by the start of the fourth quarter. Had the offense punched it in from four yards out, the game might have played out differently.
So while this is a funny moment, it is also an example of the little things separating a one-win team from a playoff team.
