Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson isn’t thrilled with the demeanor of Jaguars fans in Jacksonville.
“When we go to punt or before halftime when Blake (Bortles) takes a knee and you hear the booing, it’s kind of funny to me,” Robinson told ESPN.com via Pro Football Talk. “It’s funny that we get our best home-field advantage when we go to Wembley (Stadium).”
The Jaguars (2-4) are 1-3 at home this season, and the one win came at London when they beat the Colts 30-27. The Jags are 2-2 in London since they began playing games there annually in 2013. They’re 7-17 in games at Jacksonville during that time.
So statistically, Robinson is right. The Jaguars are a .500 team when they play in London.
But Robinson should appreciate fans in Jacksonville who boo when they punt or take a knee before halftime. It means they care.
To enjoy a real home-field advantage at Jacksonville, the Jaguars have to do their part by winning.
