Brian Hoyer suffers broken arm, leaves game vs Packers

Chicago Bears v Green Bay Packers

Just when you thought things couldn’t get worse for the one-win Bears, they did, on Thursday night.

Quarterback Brian Hoyer, who had been playing well, basically got sandwiched between two Packers defenders in the first half of the game.

Hoyer left the game and was seen holding his arm. It was then announced that he broke his arm.

Matt Barkley came in to replace Hoyer, and he was abysmal. Barkley completed six of 15 passes for 81 yards, with two interceptions. A good chunk of this came against prevent defense in garbage time, too.
