Candace Parker was named WNBA Finals MVP after being virtually unstoppable in Thursday night’s thrilling 77-76 victory.
Parker dropped 28 points in the game, and she and league MVP Nneka Ogwumike literally carried the Sparks to a title win.
After the game, Parker was seen tearing up with emotion, and she dedicated the win to the late Pat Summitt, who coached her in college.
“This is for Pat,” she said.
