For all the incredible stats you can pull up on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, the rookie’s numbers in the fourth quarter—especially lately—might be the most impressive.
According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, Prescott has completed 25 of 28 passes in the fourth quarter over the last four games, including six completions on seven attempts during the fourth quarter of the Cowboys’ 31-26 win over the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving.
Despite a slow start, Prescott led the Cowboys on a pair of touchdown drives in the fourth quarter to hold of Washington’s rally. He ran in the first score for a 6-yard touchdown, and he set up the second score with a 26-yard completion to Dez Bryant on 3rd-and-9 from the 27-yard line with under seven minutes left.
Overall, Prescott has completed 69.4 percent of his fourth quarter passes this season, with four touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 109.1 passer rating.

The Cowboys continue to win games for a variety of reasons. Ezekiel Elliott is gaining yards at a record pace, the Dallas offensive line is dominating the line of scrimmage and the Cowboys defense has played far better than anyone expected.
But Prescott has been the glue holding it all together.
The rookie quarterback has made playing quarterback in the fourth quarter look incredibly easy.
