Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in Wednesday’s practice, and the team will have to continue to make its playoff push without him on the field.
Sanders will be tough to replace, as he’s the Broncos’ most dynamic weapon on offense, and is the veteran that helps anchor a young receiving corps. Still, he’s remaining optimistic about the state of the team going forward, which he stated in an Instagram post following news of his injury.
The caption in Sanders’ post had an uplifting message, and you can read it below:
“If you know me then you know nothing can keep me down. I’ve overcome too much in my life to allow this to stop me. I’ll be back next year on a vengeance..This I promise! I believe in my teammates that they will get the job done and keep this win streak alive. Let’s go my brothas! Thanks to everyone who reached out to show love.
