An NFL player has finally pulled out the Harambe cleats.
Jerick McKinnon, running back for the Minnesota Vikings, hit the field Sunday with a jaw-dropping Harambe display on his feet:

While this is way too later for the internet as a whole, McKinnon’s cleat game is still out of this world given the great design that plays right into Minnesota’s colors.
For those somehow out of the loop, Harambe was the gorilla killed at the Cincinnati Zoo after a child fell into his pit. Since an internet meme and legend, it was only a matter of time before a tribute to his fame made it into the NFL.
McKinnon gets the credit, though it’s a wonder this is the first we’re seeing of Harambe cleats.
