The Ravens have lost three in a row, but have one less worry now that Joe Flacco is practicing.
After missing practice Wednesday and Thursday with a right shoulder injury, Flacco returned to practice on Friday according to NFL.com.
Flacco hurt his shoulder during Sunday’s loss to the Giants, but wasn’t aware of any injury until an MRI after the game revealed one. He has said the injury is “nothing to worry about” and apparently he wasn’t blowing smoke.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said that Flacco doesn’t have to practice to play on Sunday, and now that he’s practicing it seems virtually certain that he’ll play against the Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Flacco and the Ravens (3-3) will have an opportunity to get well soon against the NFL’s 28th-ranked passing defense.
