Joey Bosa was worth the wait.
The San Diego Chargers’ first-round draft pick held out for over a month before signing with the team, and he didn’t make his debut until Week 5.
In Sunday’s 33-30 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Bosa sacked Matt Ryan twice in the third quarter, bringing his season total to four after collecting a pair of sacks against the Oakland Raiders earlier this month.
According to the Chargers, Bosa is the first player with multiple games of at least two sacks in his first three NFL games since 2006. He also has the most pressures in his first three games than anyone who joined the league in the past decade, according to Pro Football Focus.
Joey Bosa has 20 pressures after 3 games. That's the most for any defender in their first 3 games in the past decade by a significant amount pic.twitter.com/cZyc9JAi28

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound defensive end is currently tied for the team lead in sacks, and he is getting better with each game, which has led some to believe the Chargers would’ve fared better than a record of 3-4 through the first seven games if they hadn’t delayed signing the Ohio State star.
It's not crazy to say San Diego could be 6-1 if they hadn't completely botched the Joey Bosa situation

It is ridiculous how good Joey Bosa is. I mean he's just getting his feet wet as a pro and he's already flat-out embarrassing NFL o-linemen.

One thing’s for sure, Bosa is the real deal, and the Chargers are finding that out quickly.
