It’s beginning to look a lot like … winter in Wisconsin.
After beating the Houston Texans in the snow last week, the Green Bay Packers are once again preparing to play in wintery conditions when the Seattle Seahawks arrive at Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon.
According to Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, at least a half-foot of snow is in the forecast for Green Bay on Saturday and Sunday—presenting the possibility for the “snowiest” game for the Packers in over 30 years:
Heavy snow (6-8 inches) forecast for GB Sat nt through Sun nt (SEA at GB, 3:25 p.m. Sun) … could be #Packers' snowiest game since 12-1-85.

The Packers will be ready for the conditions.
“We watch the weather. Rain, wind, you definitely look at those elements and you adjust accordingly,” head coach Mike McCarthy said Friday. “It’s always built into your winter plan. I don’t really talk about the weather until the team meeting tomorrow. It could change.”
Snow last Sunday created a slippery surface at Lambeau Field. The Packers used it to their advantage when a Texans cornerback slipped on Jordy Nelson’s second half touchdown.
The snowy conditions this weekend might help the Packers slow down some of Seattle’s quick players, such as Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett.
Green Bay’s season will once again be on the line Sunday. It’s only fitting that a huge December game at Lambeau Field will include snow, and maybe a lot of it.
