Odell Beckham Jr. goes off on officials

New York Giants v Pittsburgh Steelers

Odell Beckham Jr. has had enough of Terry McAulay’s officiating crew.

McAulay worked the Giants’ 24-14 loss at Pittsburgh Sunday and also the infamous game in which Beckham sparred with Josh Norman last season.

“I don’t know. I don’t really think we should have this crew anymore when the Giants are playing, with the past history and everything that has gone on,” Beckham told ESPN.com.

An offensive pass interference penalty against Beckham backed the Giants to their own 5-yard line in the first quarter Sunday, and three plays later the Steelers were awarded a safety and a 2-0 lead.

“It was a horrible call in my opinion,” Beckham said about being cited for interfering with Steelers cornerback Ross Cockrell.

The Steelers did get away with at least one pass interference infraction covering Beckham, but they were flagged 12 times in the game and the Giants were penalized just four times.

And Beckham did catch 10 passes for 100 yards. Imagine the numbers he’ll put up when Giants games are worked by officials who meet his approval.
