The Green Bay Packers will be without Pro Bowl linebacker Clay Matthews for the third consecutive game on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
Matthews is still recovering from a hamstring injury.

“I had a chance to talk with Clay,” head coach Mike McCarthy said on Friday. “He’s making progress, just won’t be available this week.”
Matthews originally hurt his hamstring in Week 2. He re-aggrevated the injury during Green Bay’s win over the Chicago Bears, and then suffered another setback late last week.
The Packers’ pass-rush has struggled without Matthews in the lineup. Green Bay has 14 sacks in the five games Matthews has played, and only seven in the three he’s missed. Without Matthews, the Packers defense had problems pressuring Matt Ryan and Andrew Luck in the previous two games.
Julius Peppers and Nick Perry will start on Sunday against the Titans, with Datone Jones, Kyler Fackrell and Jayrone Elliott available in backup roles.
