Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed practiced on Thursday, but his status for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles remains up in the air due to a lingering shoulder injury.
According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, Reed did individual drills but was in “obvious pain.”

ESPN’s John Keim relayed the same message, saying Reed appeared to be in more discomfort during Thursday’s practice than on Wednesday.

Reed hurt his shoulder during Washington’s Thanksgiving day loss to the Dallas Cowboys. He finished the rest of the game, but he missed last Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Over nine games in 2016, Reed has caught 45 passes for 630 yards and five touchdowns. He missed two games earlier in the season with a concussion.
The Redskins would start veteran Vernon Davis at tight end if Reed can’t go against the Eagles on Sunday.
