It’s official—the Cleveland Browns will have Robert Griffin III back on the field Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Of course, with RG3, one has to know this applies if and only if he doesn’t suffer another setback in the days leading up to the game.
ESPN’s Dan Graziano shared the report:
Barring an unforeseen health setback in practice, the Browns plan to start Robert Griffin III at QB on Sunday, per source.

Griffin only attempted 26 passes with the Browns this year, but fans should be curious to see him get back on the field. He had his struggles in Washington despite being an odd fit and is still the guy who finished with 20 touchdowns against five interceptions after his rookie season.
RG3 might not be enough to help the Browns get their first win of the season. But it is important for the franchise to get him on the field and evaluate him as a critical part of its future—or not.
At the least, RG3 currently makes for an interesting pairing with breakout star wideout Terrelle Pryor. Given an under performing Cincinnati Bengals team as an opponent, RG3 has a chance to announce his return in a big way and get the Browns a win.
