It’s been nearly five years since NFL fans witnessed the “Buttfumble,” which ended up being one of Mark Sanchez’s career-defining moments in the NFL.
And now, with the five-year anniversary of the embarrassing play coming up in November, a Rutgers player did his best to use his rear end as well, but for a positive gain.
Scarlet Knights tight end Jerome Washington saw a pass come his way during Saturday’s game against Nebraska, and he juggled the ball with his feet to keep it alive. But with the ball close to hitting the ground, Washington had to act fast to secure the ball. And that’s exactly what he did.
Watch the Rutgers tight end pin the ball to his rear end for a great catch.

That’s an excellent display of how to use your butt to make the highlight reel.
