Texas never trailed against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl — jumping out to an early lead from the getgo, and never looking back. The Longhorns enjoyed a 28-7 lead at one point in the fourth quarter, and it was a shock to many, as the Bulldogs were 13-point favorites in the game.
A big reason Georgia was laying large chalk was because the SEC Conference is perceived to be the toughest of all. However, Texas showed the world that maybe that’s not the case, given that the second-place Big 12 team took the second-place SEC team to the woodshed.
And fans let them know about it. Check out the “S-E-C” chant that fans busted out during the game.
