Todd Bowles, Jets angry with Sheldon Richardson after Snapchat incident

New York Jets v Miami Dolphins

New York Jets defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson just can’t stay out of trouble.

With his latest incident, Richardson doesn’t seem to have any desire to avoid hot water, either. Before his Jets got whipped 34-13 by the Miami Dolphins Saturday, Richardson took to Snapchat and had some choice words for the game.

Again…before the game. Here it is, in all its NSFW glory:

Coach Todd Bowles and the Jets aren’t too happy with Richardson. Per Connor Hughes of NJ.com:

Either way, Bowles wasn’t happy, and seemed to indicate Richardson will be disciplined.

“We don’t condone any of that,” Bowles said via conference call. “We’re going to have a discussion and take care of it.”

Richardson has been in hot water multiple times this year as he continues to under perform and see his role decrease. At this point, if the team can’t reel him in a bit and get him to improve on the field, it’s hard to imagine he’ll be with the team much longer.

Then again, maybe that’s what he wants, as he and every other pro athlete should know by now that posting something on social media means it sticks around forever.

Stay tuned to see how the Jets handle this.
