Denver Broncos TE Julius Thomas jumped offside during the third quarter of tonight’s Chargers-Broncos divisional round matchup.
He probably won’t do it again anytime soon, because QB Peyton Manning let him have it after the play was blown dead. And I’m pretty sure all of America heard it loud and clear.
Faced with a 3rd-and-6 scenario, the Broncos were already up 14-0 and were attempting to put a stranglehold on the game with a conversion to move the chains.
Thomas was lined up next to RT Orlando Franklin, and jumped a second early after mistiming the snap count.
Manning made sure to let him know. As soon as the play was whistled dead, “F*cking Julius!” could be heard by every NFL fan who was tuned in watching the game.
Thomas would later make up for it, though. He had two receptions for third-down conversion to help the team ice the game on its final drive, including a 3rd-and-17 backbreaker.
