Mavericks 19-year-old star Luka Doncic showed another fellow rookie who’s boss during Wednesday’s game against the Hawks.
Doncic, who has been making highlight-reel plays since his first career NBA game, did exactly that on Wednesday. It happened in the third quarter of the contest, when Hawks rookie guard Trae Young drove the lane. Doncic rotated over to help, and his timing was perfect, as he swatted Young’s layup attempt away with authority, giving his team a fast-break attempt.

He may be known for his offensive prowess, but Doncic can get it done on both ends of the floor, as he’s a two-way player.
