Being a referee is a dangerous job sometimes, as fans that tuned in to watch the Liberty Bowl between Missouri and Oklahoma State found out.
An official was caught up in the middle of the field during the first half of the game, and Oklahoma State quarterback Taylor Cornelius completed a quick pass over the middle. The ref got in the way of a would-be tackler, and he got trucked.
The thing is that he essentially ended up setting a screen, and even though he got run over, it helped spark a touchdown for the Cowboys.

The official should get an assist on that touchdown. It looked like a pick play.
