The underdog masks worn by Eagles fans were key to the team’s amazing Super Bowl run last season, but they’re now a thing of the past.

But given that the team is all of a sudden riding a ton of momentum, fresh off a win against the Rams as a 13-point underdog, playoff talk in Philly has picked up again.

And so have the masks, apparently, just in a new form.

Safety Rodney McLeod was seen wearing a ski mask on the bench during Sunday’s game, which he also held up to help pump his teammates up.

It even made an appearance in a team picture.

McLeod hopes the fans get behind the ski-mask movement going forward.

“We say it’s robbing season,” he said, according to Jimmy Kempski of Philly Voice. “It’s thievery. Hopefully the fans come out next week and wear the masks with us in the stands. That’d be cool. It’s just something to motivate us as a defense, and the entire team.”

The Eagles host the Texans at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. We expect to see plenty of black ski masks in the stands.
