Dodgers, Justin Turner reportedly agree to four-year, $64 million deal

Division Series - Los Angeles Dodgers v Washington Nationals - Game Five

The Los Angeles Dodgers and free-agent third baseman Justin Turner have reportedly agreed to a deal for four years and $64 million, per Jon Heyman of Today’s Knuckleball.

Turner, who finished ninth in NL MVP Award voting, hit .275 and set career highs in runs (79), hits (153), doubles (34), triples (three), homers (27), RBIs (90) and games played (151). He also has been the third-best offensive third baseman the past three seasons in terms of OPS, behind Kris Bryant and Josh Donaldson, according to ESPN Stats and Info.

Turner was among the Dodgers’ biggest free agents this offseason along with starting pitcher Rich Hill and closer Kenley Jansen. The team has managed to return all three, with Hill signing a three-year, $48 million contract earlier this month and Jansen signing a five-year deal for $80 million on Monday.
