Yes, yes, yes. I realize most NBA teams as of this date have only played on average three games. But with that said, NBA attendance trends in November often carry over to April.
As of today, 12 of the 30 NBA teams have sold out every game so far. Much more important however is the fact Milwaukee’s attendance has been at 78 percent of capacity, Detroit at 72 percent and Minnesota at 67 percent.
The wow factor here is that the Bucks, Pistons and Timberwolves all have an exciting future on the court, which may or may not translate to the gate.
Ironically, Dan Gilbert, owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who will sell out every game for years to come, has pumped billions into the city of Detroit in its revival efforts.
