Chargers tickets 49% below average for game vs Jaguars

The San Diego Chargers have rebounded nicely from a Week 1 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, as they’ve topped the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks and the Buffalo Bills in the past two weeks. Despite a history of slow starts, this San Diego team is sitting comfortably at 2-1 and should end up at 3-1 after it’s all said and done in Week 4.

San Diego has a cakewalk matchup coming to town in Week 4, as the win-less Jacksonville Jaguars chase their first win of 2014. Getting that win probably won’t be in the cards for the Jags, but they should be unveiling their new franchise passer this week, as Blake Bortles is firmly expected to get his first NFL start.

A near-guaranteed win and the debut of a young quarterback add up for mega value this week, as Chargers vs Jaguars tickets come in super low average price of $103.97 on the secondary market, 49% below the season average for Chargers tickets this season. The get-in price is also a very low $23. Chargers fans are getting a ton of bang for their buck here, as they should get to see Philip Rivers and a balanced San Diego offense take it to what figures to be an overmatched Jaguars defense. Jacksonville has been atrocious on defense through three weeks, as they rank dead last against both the run and the pass.

The Bolts have it a bit harder on the ground this week, as now both Ryan Mathews (knee) and Danny Woodhead (ankle) are on the shelf with injuries. That leaves them a little under-manned on offense, but Donald Brown should still be able to feast in this matchup as the team’s featured runner.

It should be business as usual for Rivers and the passing game, too, while second-year stud wide receiver Keenan Allen could finally be unleashed with such a tasty draw. Allen had previously been held in check through the first three weeks, and should be chomping at the bit to go off in this one. Jacksonville did play some teams really hard last year and Bortles being inserted into the starting lineup should help, but this game is without a doubt San Diego’s to lose.
