The over-abundance of centers the Rangers carried with them at the start of the year was going to get trimmed eventually. I suppose the prevailing thought among the coaching staff was that Jooris was going to have to take Lindberg’s spot away from him. Despite injuries to both players this early in the season, Lindberg seemed to have the inside track and Friday’s performance by his line appeared to have put him over.
