Is it funny or sad that Ben Simmons is getting praise for jump shots?

Give Ben Simmons credit for taking jumpers. He missed a 12-foot turnaround jumper w/ 6:41 left in the first quarter. He later misfired on a 16-foot pull-up jumper at the 6:13. Some will point out they were misses. But I think he should be commended for taking them.

This entire Ben Simmons jump shot thing BLOWS MY MIND!

One, I can’t believe a player as talented as Simmons refrains from any sort of jump shot. I mean, it’s not like he’s Dennis Rodman or Reggie Evans.

And two, we’ve reached the point where the media is commending the man for taking said jump shots. THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A SECOND!

I coach 7-9-year-old boys and we have to encourage and commend them for shooting. 7-9-YEAR-OLD BOYS.

PS: My New Year’s resolution is writing with more caps. If it works for Trump, it should work for me.
