The Celtics entered Thursday’s game against the Heat on a four-game win streak, but they found themselves down big going into halftime at American Airlines Arena, and were never able to fully recover.
Boston found itself down 26 points in the game, but a run late in the third quarter cut the lead to eight. Miami, however, continued to knock down three-pointers — as they shot 46.2 percent from the perimeter — and the end result was a 115-99 win.
The up-and-down game seemed to take a toll on two Celtics players, as Marcus Morris and Jaylen Brown were seen arguing in front of the team’s bench at one point during a stoppage in play. Morris shoved Brown, and the two had to be separated by assistant coach Jerome Allen.

The Celtics will have an opportunity to put the double-digit loss behind them and get back in the win column on Saturday night, when they square off against the Magic.
