The Celtics are struggling right now, having lost three straight games, and Nets fans made sure to rub some salt in the wound during Monday’s game at Barclays Center.
Brooklyn took a 24-point lead into the fourth quarter, and it’s safe to say no one expected Boston to trail by such a large deficit against a sub-.500 opponent. The home team extended its lead to 26 points early in the quarter, and that’s when Nets fans elected to troll the visitors. Daniel Theis went to the free-throw line, and chants of “Kyrie’s leaving!” broke out around the arena.

The chants continued later in the quarter, when the Nets upped their lead to 27 points.

The Celtics have been one of the most disappointing teams in the league during the first half of the season, given all the talent on their roster, and it will be interesting to see if they can get back to playing at the level they were at last year, when they nearly punched their ticket to the NBA Finals.
