Red Wings RW Alex DeBrincat named NHL First Star of the Week

Detroit Red Wings right winger Alex DeBrincat of Farmington Hills, Michigan has been named the National Hockey League first star of the week foe the period from October 16 to 22. In four games, DeBrincat had five goals and three assists for eight points.

DeBrincat has emerged as a formidable force on the Red Wings top line. He is alongside Raymond and Larkin. After six games, DeBrincat has eight goals and four assists for 12 points. He leads the NHL in goals (eight), points (12), and even strength goals (six).

Detroit is second in the Atlantic Division with 10 points. They have a record of five wins and one loss. The only team with a better record is the Boston Bruins at five wins and zero losses for 10 points.
