The Steelers trip to Miami could not have been more of a disaster if it had been scripted by Michael Bay. Apparently the temperature at field-level was in triple-digits which led to a number of players leaving the game with cramping and dehydration issues. The temperature of Steelers Nation on twitter was even hotter as it completely melted down over 3 hours.
Coming into the game, the Dolphins were the 6th most penalized team in the league. With Ed Hochuli’s crew officiating the game, the result was predictable.

#Steelers lost 25 yards or so on the kickoff because officials mistake

Hochuli's crew is making this unwatchable. And the @NFL wonders why it is losing viewers

Hey, a bright spot!

With an offense like Pittsburgh, you should always go for 2. Because math.
— FanDuel Research (@FanDuelResearch) October 16, 2016
It didn’t last long, though.
Not sure why you have Jesse James blocking Cameron Wake with no help there. Sort of a predictable end result.

When your name becomes a verb, it’s not usually a good thing.
The Steelers are officially Tomlining – playing down to the level of maybe the worst team in the NFL.

Then, disaster.
Ben to the locker room. Walking with limp.

🎶 hello darkness, my old friend 🎶
🎶 it's Landry Jones at QB again 🎶— Mike Darnay (@MikeDarnay) October 16, 2016
In all honesty there's not much difference between Road Ben Roethlisberger the last two years and Landry Jones.
Boom!
— Adam Gretz (@AGretz) October 16, 2016
Okay, Landry Jones at QB, we can just give it to Le’Veon Bell every play, right?
3rd and 1 with Landry Jones at QB and Haley decides to throw the ball down the field. What? #Steelers
— Josh Rowntree (@JRown32) October 16, 2016
Are you kidding me? Play-action passing on 3rd and 1 with Landry Jones?
— Curt Popejoy (@CurtPopejoySW) October 16, 2016
Haley cant call the game as if ben is playing when its Landry Jones under center … got to adjust the play calling simple as that

None of them would’ve called a pass on 3rd and 1 though.
#Steelers TIMMONS can't believe they're losing to #Dolphins pic.twitter.com/48VHXVIAbP

Refs breaking up celebrations. Like chaperones at the prom breaking up couples who "slow dance too close."

#steelers playing down to and below inferior opponents is textbook Tomlin era. At least 97% of #SteelersNation saw this coming

This #Steelers defense is missing Heyward like nothing other
— Steelers Wire (@TheSteelersWire) October 16, 2016
Dolphins had one interception in their first five games. None since Week One.
Two day. Ugly. #Steelers

Going to tell my grandkids about the time I sat on a couch for 3 hours and watched the Steelers lose to the Dolphins
— Steve Braband (@stevebraband) October 16, 2016
Ben looked like crap before his "injury" … Not getting any better. Having one of his 2-3x/yr crap games. They have nothing to do w/injury.
— Chris Mack (@THEChrisMack) October 16, 2016
Yinzer radicalism and stupidity should be at DEFCON 1 during the postgame call-in shows. #Steelers

No football player better ever again tell me the trap game doesn't exist. It exists and I am witnessing it.

Six days ago this happened. Today the Steelers are getting destroyed by the horrid Dolphins. pic.twitter.com/d2DMaZyPFJ

There was a glimmer of hope at the end…
The entire AFC North is currently losing at the moment.
— Ryan Recker (@RyanRecker) October 16, 2016
Beautiful touchdown by Cobi Hamilton. Probably too late, but beautiful. That's a 10-play, 97-yard drive by the Steelers.
— Jeremy Fowler (@JFowlerESPN) October 16, 2016
…but not really.

Good news is that the Steelers can bounce back from this loss with the – oh c'mon the Patriots next week!?
— Josh Rowntree (@JRown32) October 16, 2016
Is this the week the #Steelers finally start doing tackling drills? I really fucking hope so. Between line play & tackling they sucked today
— Ben Anderson (@BenAnderson58) October 16, 2016
And a week of the local media denying that Tomlin lays eggs against inferior opponents consistently begins
