In one of the biggest MMA fights in recent memory, Amanda Nunes took down the unstoppable force that is Cris Cyborg at UFC 232. As a result, she takes her place as one of the most dominant fighters of all time, while also becoming the UFC Featherweight Champion.
Nunes, the underdog of the bout and the UFC Bantamweight Champion, needed only 51 seconds to defeat a knockout artist in Cyborg.

That was Nunes’ (17-4) 14th win via some sort of knockout. She has now won eight in a row, besting the likes of Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko (twice) and now Cyborg. She becomes the first female two-weight champion in UFC history, joining a list that includes the likes of Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier.
After the fight, Nunes requested that Dana White include her into the UFC Hall of Fame.
For Cyborg (20-2, 1 NC), that was the first time she has been knocked out in her career. Once the savior of the featherweight division, a loss puts Cyborg in limbo.
A rematch is always in the air, but for now, the moment belongs to Amanda Nunes.
