Dez Bryant wanted to play on Sunday at Lambeau Field, but with another game missed and the bye week coming up, the Dallas Cowboys receiver is confident he’ll return to the field when Dallas takes on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8.
According to Jane Slater of NFL Network, Bryant said on Sunday that he’s “playing against Philly.”
As Dez Bryant walks off field he finds me and tells me “Don’t have to ask me anymore, I’m good…playing against Philly”

Since suffering a hairline fracture in his knee during Week 3, Bryant has missed the last three games. He returned to practice his past week, but the Cowboys held him out of the team’s 30-16 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
There was a sense of frustration from Bryant in that decision. But with the off week coming up, there’s now little question about whether or not he’ll be ready to make his return in Week 8.
Bryant, who missed seven games to injury last season, has 11 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown in 2016. He was a Pro Bowler in both 2013 and 2014, when he produced 2,553 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns.
The Cowboys (5-1) return to action on Sunday, Oct. 30, with a primetime game against the Eagles.
