If Georges St-Pierre can get on the same page with the UFC’s management in time, he has an opponent waiting for him for UFC 206, which is taking place in Toronto on December 10th. As the title of this article gives away, that opponent would be UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping. At least that’s according to the man himself, Michael Bisping, who tweeted out that the fight has been bandied about the past couple of days and that he has verbally agreed to fight GSP in his homeland two weeks before Christmas.
They've been negotiating this fight for the last few days. #letsgochamp https://t.co/lltcEaJ8zz

Naturally, UFC president Dana White vehemently denies this rumor, as he always does when a fight is leaked out before he has the chance to announce it first himself.
Text from @danawhite: There is no Bisping vs. GSP fight in Toronto. I know Mike wants it, but it's not happening.

Whether this fight actually takes place (and at what weight class? for the championship?) is still up in the air, and is still probably a long shot, as GSP and the UFC brass seem to be closer to meeting in a courtroom rather than agreeing on a contract. But money talks, especially in the fight game, and GSP is money.
