A big surprise just went down at UFC 205. No, it wasn’t that (SPOILER ALERT!!) Raquel Pennington dominated Miesha Tate to take a unanimous decision victory. Rather, it was after the fight when fan favorite and former champion Tate announced her retirement from the sport.
The 30-year-old Tate retires with a 18-7 record, including 5-3 in the UFC, but has dropped her last two fights. She held both the Strikeforce & UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championships.
