The Orlando Magic seem to be gradually improving each season, and the team’s CEO wants fans to trust the process, essentially.
With a 10-15 record, the Magic are certainly in position to compete for a playoff spot in the weak Eastern Conference this season, and that would be a good starting point to build on.
CEO Alex Martins shared some interesting thoughts about the future of the team, and believes they’ll win a title by 2030, according to Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel.
“I certainly believe by 2030 we will have won at least one championship,” he said. “And I say ‘at least.’ I firmly believe we’re going to get there, and once you get there, you got the kind of team that hopefully can come back.”
There you have it. If the 2029-30 season rolls around and the Magic still haven’t won a title by then, just bet the house on them to win it all.
