Big Show Potential: B

At this point, his chance at the big show is probably over. He’s in a good place to get quality wins, but at his age he’d have to have a hell of a run to get back in. He does appear to be every bit of, or at least close to, the fighter he was in his 15 fight UFC stint.

FEATHERWEIGHT:

Brandon Seyler (7-5)

Big Show Potential: B

Hands looked very sharp and stunned Seyler 3 times. Maybe more impressive was his composure when he had him stunned. He needs to build the record up a bit, but the skills are almost there.

WELTERWEIGHT:

Gary Balletto Jr. (4-1)**WINNER by Submission (RNC) – Round 3 (3:17)
Sharif Jones (3-2)

Big Show Potential: C- 

The gas tank has to be far better than it is now. He got hit a lot from distance and luckily had the advantage in the clinch. If he didn’t get the finish this would have been pretty close on the scorecards.

BANTAMWEIGHT:

Big Show Potential: A

Rico seems insistent on making sure that his ground game is up to par. He made a couple mistakes here, but his striking and scrambling made up for it. If he continues to develop that ground game, the big shows will be calling…. soon.

LIGHTWEIGHT:

Big Show Potential: D

He is one hell of a fun fighter to watch. Loves to bang and has a good sprawl to keep it that way. But his striking is very straightforward and formulaic. Plus, he’s quite hittable.

Shedrick Goodridge (6-9)

Big Show Potential: B

Good showing in the wrestling department. Hands looked good. Opened up the choke attempt with strikes. Just needs to keep sharpening the tools, but he’s on the right path.

Very raw at this point. Needs a lot of work on his fundamentals. His work with his back on the cage was a little rough, but he’s clearly physically gifted.

Raymond Yanez (4-11)

Big Show Potential: C

Sure he’s undefeated, but he allowed his opponent to get deep in on takedowns. Were Brewster’s opponent more than someone brought in to showcase his skills, he would have had to work off of his back early.

MIDDLEWEIGHT:

Pat McCrohan (2-1)**WINNER by TKO (Punches) – Round 1 (4:56)
Buck Pineau (1-3)

Big Show Potential: B-

I like his ability to wrestle; it makes him competitive regardless of the situation. This is why he has decision over UFC signee, Mike Rodriguez. However, his entry on the takedown was a tad sloppy as were his passes. If he shores them up, the wrestling would be even more dangerous.

BANTAMWEIGHT:

Jessie Pires (Pro Debut)
Michael Taylor (Pro Debut)**WINNER by KO (Elbows) – Round 1 (2:43)

Big Show Potential: C

Taylor did what he needed to to get a inferior opponent out of there and fast. Taylor could use an opponent that can give him trouble to fully showcase his skills. However, you have to like the viciousness of his elbows and the efficiency of his guard passing.
