Two of the NBA’s biggest stars went toe-to-toe on the court for a Martin Luther King Jr. Day showdown, and it was just as entertaining as you’d think it would be.
Both of them went off on offense in the first half — with Harden scoring 24 points, and Embiid dropping 27 of his own. Not only that, they kinda went at it on one particular play late in the first half.
Harden had a two-on-one in transition, and it appeared he had an easy layup, but Embiid came from behind and swatted it away with ease. He then finished it off by standing over Harden and staring him down.
