The third and ninth-ranked athletes were sidelined for the majority of 2023.

The Gymnastics GOAT Also Made The List

In addition to five tennis players, World and Olympic gymnastics champion Simone Biles came in seventh with 6.3 million searches.

Biles had a whirlwind year that included two wedding ceremonies with Jonathan Owens and a return to competitive gymnastics.

Four Soccer Players Round Out The List

The fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth athletes on the list are soccer players Alexia Putellas, Alex Morgan, Sam Kerr, and Megan Rapinoe.
