Lakers forward Brandon Ingram is lucky that NBA official Marc Davis isn’t petty, otherwise he might have been hit with a technical foul during Wednesday night’s game against the Sixers.
Ingram converted on a layup attempt after drawing some contact in the first quarter of the game, which gave him a three-point play opportunity. The Lakers forward made his way to the line, and was seen wiping his sweaty hands on his shorts, in an apparent attempt to dry them off a bit so he could grip the ball. That apparently didn’t get the job done, though, as he then turned toward Davis and wiped his hands on the official’s sleeve.

Davis didn’t seem to care one bit, but other referees would’ve reacted a bit differently.
