Don’t know if this will cheer up Mark Hunt at all, but Brock Lesnar has finally been punished for his failed UFC 200 drug tests (one test leading up to the fight, one test the day of).  The Nevada Athletic Commission has suspended Lesnar one year, and fined him a hefty $250,000 (which amounts to 10% of his reported purse for the fight, not counting pay-per-view points).  They also overturned Lesnar’s original victory over Hunt to a No Contest.  He tested positive for Hydroxy-clomiphene, which is an anti-estrogen drug.

Lesnar, who has since returned to pro wrestling superstardom, can fight again in the octagon next July if he chooses to.  Hunt, meanwhile, has been out of action since UFC 200 and in an ugly dispute with the UFC over them allowing Lesnar to fight without the required four-month random drug test leadup.
