It’s no secret that Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is a fan of gadget plays, and NFL fans saw plenty of them in Thursday’s season opener against the Patriots.
They showed some different looks early and often, with Travis Kelce lining up as quarterback midway through the first quarter of the game in the wildcat formation. Kelce played quarterback in college, so the position is nothing new to him.

The result of the play was a first down, and Kansas City would eventually score a touchdown to cap off the 12-play, 90-yard drive.
