Kansas City Chiefs safety Daniel Sorensen is often praised for his hitting ability, but that’s usually in reference to legal blows he puts on opposing players during games.
What he appeared to do to Chargers receiver Tyrell Williams on Sunday, though, was not legal.
The play in question happened when the Chiefs were trying to gang tackle Williams, who was looking to gain extra yardage after hauling in a catch. Sorensen, rather than trying to wrap him up, though, appeared to throw a punch at Williams.

No penalty was called on the play, as Sorensen did make it look like he was going for the ball.
