Earlier today the Washington Nationals signed former Arizona Lefty Patrick Corbin to a total of about 140 million over the next 6 years, first reported by Chelsea Janes. In 2018 Corbin posted his second all-star season going 11-7 over 200 innings with a career-low 3.15 ERA and a career High 246 strikeouts and also finished top five in the Cy Young voting. It seems like a good add for the Nationals to bolster their starting rotation and have another piece to show Bryce Harper if they want a real shot at resigning him this offseason.
Can confirm the Corbin deal is for six years, and pending a physical, which is important.
